The Kokkinopilos area offers a rich network of trails, ideal for hiking, mountaineering, and nature exploration. The trails connect the village with Mount Olympus, its shelters and surrounding peaks, the springs of the Enipeas River, and nearby destinations.

The most well-known mountaineering route is the international E4 trail, which passes through Kokkinopilos and continues through the Stalagmatia Gorge, the Christakis shelter and the peaks of Skolio and Skala, before descending toward the Agapitos shelter.

The routes traverse forests, alpine meadows, and traditional stone paths, offering a unique experience for visitors of all levels.

Kokkinopilos (1,200 m) – Roudi Spring (1,750 m) – Kitros (2,416 m):

A route that begins in Kokkinopilos, passes through dense forest to Roudi Spring, and then continues through the alpine zone to the summit of Kitros, offering breathtaking views.
