Who We Are

The Hellenic Mountaineering Club of Kokkinopilos (Kokkinopilos’ EOS) was founded in 2014 in the highest village of Mount Olympus, with the aim of promoting mountaineering, hiking, ecotourism, and every activity that brings people closer to nature.

We are a vibrant community of people who love and respect the mountain.

We organize hikes, mountaineering excursions, environmental actions, educational seminars, and activities that highlight the natural and cultural heritage of the region. Through these activities, both visitors and residents have the opportunity to experience Mount Olympus up close—safely and respectfully.

Our goal is to showcase the unique nature of Olympus, protect its trails, and spread the culture of cooperation, solidarity, and love for the mountain.

For Thessalian Olympus to become a vibrant, global destination for mountaineering, environmental, and cultural experiences, centered on people and respect for the mountain.
